Master of Business Administration (MBA) of University of Pune is a highly reputed course and is considered to be amongst the well-known management programs in the country.

Fee: Fees decided by Shikshan Shulka Samiti is Rs. 82000 as tuition fees + 5000 Caution money

Hostel Fees
Rs.45,000/- per year inclusive of boarding and lodging + Rs 5000 Caution Money

Eligibility for Admission
Graduate with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category students) from any recognized Institute / University. Students awaiting results of final year exams, may seek provisional admission, as per instructions from DTE, Maharashtra.
Must have appeared in Common Entrance Test conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.

Admission Process
Admission test is conducted by CET, Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra, Mumbai. (www.dte.org)
All admissions are conducted based on the list provided by DTE, in the first instance. The remaining seats are filled by giving admission to candidates who have either qualified for the CET or passed MAT, XAT etc. and qualified GD/PI conducted in Pune by AMMI.
For academic year 2009-10 number of seats allotted to different Test Qualified candidates CAT, MAT, XAT, JMET, ATMA, CET, JEE (State conducted tests / University tests)

Objectives
The basic objectives of an MBA Course is

  • To provide the country a steady stream of competent young men and women with necessary knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to occupy positions of management and administration in business, industry, public systems and the government.
  • To impart the students with latest and relevant knowledge from the field of management theory and practice.
  • To provide opportunities to the participants, within and outside institutions, for developing necessary managerial skills, and leadership qualities.
  • To impart / develop the right kind of values and attitudes to function effectively in managerial / administrative positions in a fiercely competitive post 2005 is to regime.

Cancellation of admission within seven days from commencenment of academic yaer: 10% deduction from the tution fees / admission fees.

Cancellation of admission within 15 days from commencement of academic year: 25% deduction from tution fees (Other fees will not be refunded).

Cancellation of admission after 15 days from the commencement of academic year: No refund.
